Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) certification is the government-endorsed standard for small-scale renewable energy installations. MCS certification is a legal requirement to access the Smart Export Guarantee and Boiler Upgrade Scheme. All YEERS installations are MCS certified, meaning your system is registered with the official national database and your export payments are protected.

Electrical competence — Part P Building Regulations
NAPIT (National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers) registration confirms YEERS electrical engineers are competent to self-certify electrical work under Part P of the Building Regulations. This means your installation is legally compliant without the need for separate local authority inspection. NAPIT registration also provides independent dispute resolution and consumer protection.

TrustMark is the only government-endorsed quality scheme for tradespeople working in and around the home. TrustMark registration confirms we have passed independent technical assessments, carry appropriate insurance, and operate to a code of conduct. TrustMark is also a requirement for Warm Homes Grant installations, providing an additional layer of consumer protection.
